Our History and Commitment to Inclusivity and Respect

The University of Washington Panhellenic understands the importance of recognizing and reflecting on our history to create a community of respect and inclusivity. We acknowledge the exclusionary and classist ideals that our community was built on and admit that our past is not without its flaws. In response to this, our council and members have made many efforts to change the culture and ideals of our organizations to promote and foster places of inclusivity, respect, and accountability. We are committed to learning from the past and working diligently to ensure that our Greek life organizations uphold the highest standards of behavior and accountability.
