Letter From The President

Welcome to the Panhellenic community at the University of Washington! My name is Emma Haag, and I am honored to serve as your 2025 Panhellenic President.

Panhellenic is a vibrant and supportive community, with 18 distinct chapters and over 1,800 members, all united by a shared commitment to sisterhood, service, and personal growth. Each chapter offers its own unique experience, but we are all connected by a deep commitment to shared goals that emphasize service and academic success.

This community holds a special place in my heart, and I truly hope it will become just as meaningful to you. Looking back on my own journey, I vividly remember the mix of excitement and nerves I felt when I first joined. Stepping into something new can feel overwhelming, but I quickly found my footing in a community that celebrated who I was and encouraged who I could become. Panhellenic has shaped me in ways I never imagined, helping me grow as a leader, build lifelong friendships, and find a deep sense of belonging.

I want you to know that there is a place here for you. Panhellenic is more than just an organization — it’s a community that will cheer you on through every success and stand beside you through every challenge.

This is your time to explore, grow, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Know that as you navigate this journey, you are never alone. The Panhellenic community is here to support you, every step of the way. Together, we’ll continue to foster an environment where every woman can flourish and feel empowered. I am so excited to watch you all thrive in this amazing chapter of your life.

If you ever have questions, need support, or just want to chat, please don’t hesitate to reach out at phpres@uw.edu. I can’t wait to see all that you will achieve here!

Go Dawgs!
